You’re like the best girl-friend that I never had. You know so much about me and it’s weird cos it makes me feel comfortable. You made me love my life and myself so much more. You’re the brother I never had. You taught me what it takes to be humble. You appreciate that I’m imperfect and you embrace my flaws. You always push me to be health-conscious but you don’t want me to get rid of my “baby” fats. You are my worst enemy. You are my best friend. You’re the perfect man that I could ever have. 

Yes, we fight. We get hurt. But times like this push me to be better. I swallow the lump in my throat that keeps me from communication from you. I push away the barriers inside my prideful heart that keeps me from accepting your apologies. I try to change. Gradually. So I can be the best girl for you. So you could be reminded of how much I care for you. So I could show you how much I love you. So I could show you I want to be with you as we journey through life together… forever.

This summer I learned to swim in a beach. I always hate the saltiness of the beach so I would always prefer to swim in a pool. But this summer was different. ♥

The one who never fails

Never seek the approval of others. Many times have I lived up to the expectations of others. Many times have I made my decisions on what would please my family, friends, acquaintances, etc. I guess it’s because I saw inside of me I didn’t have enough confidence and that by seeking the approval of others I would feel satisfied. I must admit, I feel satisfaction whenever I see how people are pleased. But it is only temporary for people can never be satisfied. And I, myself, can never be satisfied seeking the approval of others. So I have decided not to base my decisions on the standards of other people. I have learned that I know myself better than others do and that the only one who can hold my decisions is God. 

Romans 2:28

We know that God makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are chosen to be a part of His plan.

God promised that He will make all things work together for our good. The premise? You must choose to love God (“for the good of those who love Him”). Make a decision to love Him and invite Him in your heart.

With this promise, I put my trust in God alone. Not to men, material things, career, relationships, possessions.. For in this ever changing world, I could only put our trust to the One who will never change -my God.

The fact that I can be myself to you without any fear of being judged.

How could this be not the best feeling ever?

Who’s excited?

Coming from Neil Gaiman, the great mind behind my favorite books Coraline, Neverwhere, and Anansi Boys. This got me excited so much more. Can’t wait to see how Gary Ross would artistically put to motion the games. :D
